Adisseo SAS & Dimune S.A. jointly organized a seminar entitled “ADDITIVE STRATEGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE & PROFITABLE SHRIMP PRODUCTION” at hotel Wyndham Puerto Santa Ana in Guayaquil, Ecuador on 15th of March 2024. It was at the occasion of the inauguration of the strategic collaboration between Adisseo and Dimune for the distribution of Adisseo’s Aquaculture Specialties in Ecuador. The seminar was attended by nutritionists, technicians, shrimp farmers, R&D, and others from different sectors of the aqua industry.
Arturo Solis, General Manager of Dimune, opened the event informing to the audience the strategic alliance with Adisseo Aqua to bring solutions to the shrimp and shrimp feed producers in Ecuador. Peter Coutteau, Business Unit Director Aquaculture for Adisseo, presented the global strategy of Adisseo Aqua focused on species-specific solutions and services for producers in all key markets for aquaculture. Adisseo’s global and regional technical support team for Aqua Specialties presented a number of additive strategies to optimize the profitability and sustainability of shrimp production. Presentations focused on explaining the modes of action of the different specialty additives from the programs Health, Digestion and Palatability, illustrating lab results as well as field trials under production conditions. After the seminar the attendants and the Adisseo – Dimune staffs took the opportunity to exchange experiences.
