Our Feed Enzymes: Rovabio®

Cereals used as feed ingredients contain indigestible fractions fibers which lower feed digestibility. Breaking down these components requires specific enzymes to be added into the feed. This is crucial to avoid the loss of valuable nutrients and its economic and environmental impact.

Rovabio® is a range of enzyme solutions that improves the digestibility of feedstuffs from vegetal origin for animals, poultry and swine. Rovabio® delivers cost savings and animal performance while contributing to a better breeding environment, for more sustainability.

Securing your feed value chain by optimal enzyme usage

There are several steps involved in using enzymes in feed: transport & storage, feed formulation, application, quality control, evaluation of zootechnical performance.

These are all critical points which may not be 100% controlled. As a result, plant managers, quality managers, nutritionists or formulators may not be 100% sure of enzyme activity in feed and may not use the whole benefit enzymes can provide.

At the occasion of Digestive Physiology for pigs congress in Rotterdam, we are sharing an full 12 page article on pig feed digestibility, with a specific focus on anti-nutritional factors and the way to mitigate their effect with enzymes to get the most of the feed.
  • EXPLORING ROVABIO® FOR ENZYMATIC PRE-TREATMENT OF PLANT BY-PRODUCTS USED IN FEEDS FOR MULLET
Plant by-products are valuable ingredients in the formulation of sustainable and cost-effective aquafeeds, particularly for species with herbivorous and omnivorous habits. However, the use of these ingredients implies nutritional limitations associated to the presence of antinutritional compounds such non-starch polysaccharides (NSPs) and phytate. Multi-enzymatic solutions based on carbohydrases and phytases Read more
