New regulation for Mycotoxins in Europe (2026/1801/EU )

The European Union has recently reinforced its framework for monitoring mycotoxins in animal feed through the publication of new guidance values.

Published on July 24, 2026, this new regulation focuses on six key mycotoxins and establishes updated recommended values for both feed materials and complete feeds.

The objective is to strengthen feed safety management and further reduce the risks associated with mycotoxin contamination throughout the feed chain.

These new recommendations introduce more stringent requirements, with guidance values now covering a broader range of feed materials and animal species than the previous legislations.
