In a world increasingly shaped by climate urgency, resource scarcity, and growing social expectations, our actions must be clear, measurable, and purpose driven. Today, we are proud to release our 2024 Sustainability Report, which highlights our journey to integrate sustainability at the core of our business model. It shows how Adisseo keeps transforming, innovating, and delivering results aligned with our responsibilities to feed the planet in a high-quality, safe, affordable and sustainable way.
Tangible environmental progress
Over the past year, we’ve made substantial headway in reducing our environmental footprint. Our greenhouse gas (GHG) intensity for Scopes 1 and 2 dropped by 16% compared to 2023 — a performance that has already surpassed our 2025 target. Moreover, 24.4% of the electricity we use now comes from renewable sources — a share we aim to grow consistently in all production facilities. Water consumption intensity has also reached its lowest point in over a decade, demonstrating the impact of our resource efficiency programs. These advances are not the result of isolated actions, but of an integrated, long-term strategy with clear accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
People and Safety first
Last year, we reinforced safety as a non-negotiable value. With a Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) of just 0.1, we’ve achieved one of the best safety performance indicators in our industry, supported by rigorous procedures, local compliance, and a culture of shared responsibility. Beyond safety, we’ve continued to invest in the human richness of our organization. Diversity and inclusion are more than aspirations; they are embedded in how we recruit, manage, and support our global teams — spanning nearly 40 countries and over 60 nationalities. These initiatives aim to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to grow, contribute, and thrive.
Strengthened ESG governance
Sustainability is achieved at the highest levels of the organization. Our Compliance & ESG Committee, chaired by our CEO and composed of executive leadership, plays a central role in shaping and overseeing all ESG-related matters — from ethics and internal controls to long-term climate risk. This committee works in close alignment with our Strategic & ESG Committee and the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, ensuring that our sustainability commitments are not only defined but fully integrated into strategic decision-making.
Through this structure, we’ve established a robust ESG governance model backed by group-wide policies, which are approved at board level and deployed globally to ensure consistency, relevance, and operational effectiveness.
The 2024 Sustainability Report is more than a summary of our performance — it reflects our purpose, grounded in science, shaped by collaboration, and driven by a long-term vision. We invite all our stakeholders to explore this report and join us in accelerating progress toward a more sustainable future.
