Ethics and Compliance are at the heart of the way Adisseo manages its activities to feed the planet with quality, affordability, safety and sustainability. This strong commitment id based on one of Adisseo's fundamental values: Integrity.

Adisseo aims to form fair and ethical relationships with our Business Partners, including suppliers, distributors and all other Third Parties.

Real key success factors, ethics and transparency are essential and undisputed mechanisms to preserve the trust of Business Partners, , stakeholders and communities.

We have set up a Code of Ethics that addresses ethical and compliance issues for which we have developed dedicated policies and procedures.

To uphold our commitment, Adisseo provides regular mandatory ethics trainings to help our employees recognize and prevent misconduct, support our zero-tolerance stance on compliance infringement and reinforce ethical business practices across the company.
Adisseo’s Compliance program is supported by a global network of Local Compliance Officers who oversee ethics and regulatory matters in all our operating regions. They work under the supervision of dedicated governance bodies to monitor and manage compliance risks.

Adisseo’s goal is to provide the planet with a healthy, sustainable, affordable and quality diet. We use internal devices and external suppliers that ensure that our products meet our strict requirements in security matters.

Preserving the environment is an important part of of Adisseo’s identity. We contribute to the sustainable development of the planet by offering healthy, sustainable, affordable and quality food.

Anti Corruption Committment

It is strictly forbidden to corrupt or be corrupt by paying, offering, soliciting or accepting bribes or any form of gift or benefit in exchange for an undue advantage on the part of any stakeholder, natural person or organization, client, supplier, business partner, government, public or private institution.

It is also important to avoid inappropriate invitations or gifts that could be confusing or perceived as inappropriate or embarrassing. Adisseo has therefore put in place a comprehensive program to prevent and avoid any act of corruption.

In case of non-compliance, Adisseo could be subject to very severe sanctions. This could also be considered a contractual breach and could result in the termination of a contract with a customer.

Fair Competition & Respect of Competition Laws

Adisseo aspires to and promotes fair competition. It is committed to respecting competition laws.

The Corporation will refrain from activity likely to restrict fair competition or raise competition law issues. Adisseo will not agree with competitors in cartels, participating in price fixing, market sharing or rigging of bidding.

Adisseo prohibits any conduct that would interfere with the free competition. Similarly, in the context of compliance with antitrust laws, Adisseo will not trade sensitive business data with competitors.

Privacy & Integrity of personal data

Adisseo pays close attention to the protection of the personal data of its customers, partners and employees.
All personal data collected and held by Adisseo will be processed fairly, lawfully and carefully and in a way that protects the privacy of its personnel and other individuals in accordance with the applicable laws in force, in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).
As such, Adisseo ensures that this information is:
•    obtained and processed fairly and lawfully;
•    registered for specific and legitimate purposes;
•    used for these purposes;
•    adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to these purposes; 
•    subject to precautions to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data, to prevent it from being damaged, modified, destroyed or communicated to unauthorized third parties. 

Adisseo’s Alert System is also open to anyone who has a reason to believe that Adisseo’s Personal Data Protection Program is not being followed, or to anyone who wishes to report potential or actual breaches to the program under the law. A privacy policy defines and informs you about how Adisseo uses and protects personal data .A single point of contact allowing you to contact the controller at dpo@adisseo.com.

Human Resources Policies

Present in many countries, Adisseo ensures strict compliance with international laws and treaties guaranteeing the human and social rights of everyone, both within the company and with its stakeholders.

We all have the right to work in an environment free from violence or harassment. At Adisseo, we will not tolerate: Harassment in all its forms, the use of physical force, Acts or threats intended to intimidate or cause a person to fear bodily harm. This applies to how we behave toward each other and to any other person with whom we interact.

Whistleblowing procedure

Adisseo is deeply committed to fostering an environment of integrity and transparency by providing employees, business partners, and stakeholders with an easy and confidential way to raise concerns about any legal infringements, misconduct, or other violations of Ethics or Compliance rules or policies, without any fear of retaliation.
This commitment is formalized through the Whistleblowing Procedure, which details the process, rules, and operational guidelines for using Adisseo whistleblowing portal ensuring that any individuals can report their concerns in a secured and anonymous manner.
 

Before using Adisseo’s whistleblowing portal, we encourage you to consider whether or not you can directly raise your concern with someone at Adisseo.
If you do not feel comfortable doing so, or do not know whom to contact, you can make a report to Adisseo using  the portal , which also includes information about how Adisseo will respond to your report. 

Adisseo believes that it is essential that you feel secure when raising a concern, and we encourage you to communicate your concerns openly. All contacts via the hotline and related investigations are treated as confidentially as possible, consistent with the need to investigate and address the matter, and subject to applicable laws and regulations.
