As the Specialties Supply Chain Director, you are accountable for the global performance of the Supply Chain within the Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This pivotal role places you at the forefront of proposing and implementing cutting-edge Supply Chain strategies that align with our global roadmap, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.
As such, your main responsibilities are:
- Strategic Planning: Develop 5-year plans and budgets in line with SBU strategy, integrating operational needs. Represent the SBU in strategic projects and ensure the application of the Adisseo core model.
- Policy Development: Define and implement supply chain policies tailored to the Specialties business, considering global policies, regional and customer expectations, and production layouts.
- Performance Optimization: Set and achieve performance objectives, provide monthly executive outputs, and ensure the efficiency of the SIOP process. Continuously improve supply chain performance in coordination with the global supply chain.
- Innovation and Digitization: Lead the digitization of processes through global supply chain projects and SBU-level initiatives. Your contributions will drive efficiency and innovation within the supply chain.
- Team Management: Animate and oversee the SBU supply chain team (5 peopke), focusing on change management linked to global supply chain transformation. Set objectives, measure performance, and ensure the development and resilience of the team.
- Global Integration: Actively participate in global supply chain projects, ensuring the SBU’s strategies are aligned with the global supply chain community. Your role is crucial in integrating new acquisitions and ensuring compliance with international trade and regulatory rules.
Main Skills
Profile required:
- Graduated from a master’s degree in supply chain with a minimum of 5 years of experience on a similar role, preferably in the industrial sector, with proven experience in structuring and improving the performance of a supply chain department.
- Fluency in English is essential, proficiency in French would be a plus
- Strong understanding of business issues with skills in managing change effectively.
- Leadership capabilities with customer centricity approach and ability to make informed decisions.
