Context and challenges of the position

 

Reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, as part of a team of 5 persons, your role as Legal Counsel will involve providing legal advice to all Group companies, in support of the other members of the team.

 

Missions of the job

 

Your main tasks will be as follows:

 

– Business Law: drafting or revising contracts (French – English), providing legal advice to operational teams, monitoring litigation with external counsel, trainings in contract law or competition law, legal advice and researches.

 

– Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions: monitoring the life of Group companies (review and drafting of minutes, legal documents and management reports) and assistance in the development projects of Group companies

 

– Risks, Compliance, Internal Control & Insurance: providing legal assistance on issues managed by the Head of Risk, Compliance, Internal Control & Insurance

 

– IP & Data Privacy: legal assistance on trademarks/patents and data protection projects

 

– Legal monitoring of applicable legal framework evolutions

You will mainly be involved in general business law in an international context.

Main Skills

Profile required

 

higher legal education

Bilingual in English and French (mandarin is a plus),

you will have at least 4 years’ similar experience (experience in an international law firm is a plus).

 

You have good writing skills and are familiar with IT tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

 

You have good interpersonal skills, are rigorous and diplomatic.
