Mycogut Academy

MycoGut Academy is Adisseo’s interactive poultry focused education programme, run in close cooperation with Ghent University, which includes practical and classroom sessions designed for an international group of industry professionals.

Bacterial enteritis, necrotic enteritis, gut health, coccidiosis, mycotoxins, wet litter, foot pad dermatitis and breast blisters are all related to each other but what’s the difference and how to recognize them?

Can we prevent it or do something about it? How to tackle the challenges and optimize flock performance without the use of antibiotics?

During the MycoGut programme, experts will explain the various mechanisms and impacts linked to mycotoxin challenge and look in detail at their effects on gut health and organ development in chickens.

Participants will be able to discuss a comprehensive approach to meet the challenges and solve the problems.

During the practical sessions  they will learn to identify different mycotoxin challenges by understanding the various lesion types and the associated effects like bacterial and necrotic enteritis.

Next Mycogut Academy is scheduled early 2020, the date will be announced soon.  Do not hesitate to contact us if needed.
