Context and challenges of the position

The Market Access team is responsible for product registration worldwide, import-export compliance (tariff codes and technical and sanitary requirements), global quality compliance and product data and documentation. For doing this, you will get the support of all the different stakeholders in the company. Together, you will ensure a regular update of the teams on registration processes. You will also contribute to the update of product data and impacting processes, ensuring monitoring and improvement of the performance of registration processes.

 

Mission

The registration specialist brings to the business his/her expertise to ensure that our products can get the proper marketing authorizations in the targeted countries, at the moment the business needs it. This expertise covers all the registration steps from BU request to market introduction and to provide regulatory compliant and updated documentation for Adisseo and local policies. This position is a member of the global market access team.

The Market Access team strives to ensure that the hazards of all used and sold products (including chemical) are evaluated, and the information concerning their hazards is communicated to internal stakeholders and customers.

 

Tasks

  • Hazard assessment for all products and raw materials
  • Maintain product updates and raw material safety data in dedicated software (WERCS studio)
  • Contribute to our internal product database (PLM) integrity & compliance and outreach: product data, articles, documentation, user training of worldwide colleagues for the database to be properly and consistently used
  • Examine product formulation, assigning relevant UN number and packing groups based on product classification and provide hazard phrases and symbols for product labeling and hazard classification, as well as for classification for transport, needed for product registration in the world countries
  • You contribute to ensure the worldwide quality & feed safety, regulatory and sanitary compliance of Adisseo products by collecting detailed compositional and other product data as well as complementary mandatory information required for the delivery of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in multiple languages and jurisdictions for use and distribution
  • Ensure compliance of company’s product SDS’s against REACH, CLP and GHS Regulation requirements in the targeted jurisdictions
  • Assist/support the commercial and market access teams in answering customer queries on product safety regarding SDS’s
  • Ensure a regular update on registration processes under your responsibility and communicate it to the adequate stakeholders
  • Represent the company in industry association and at authorities as necessary

Main Skills

KNOWLEDGE

  • Regulations on sanitary and regulatory imperatives valid for production and commercialization of animal feed and food. Feed safety quality Assurance schemes (FAMIQS, GMP+) in support of registration and customers’ demand
  • Regulations on import & export of animal food and feed and chemical industry, like GHS, REACH-CLP, Safety Data Sheet requirements, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in global hazard communication requirements and chemical control laws
  • Data / database management and analysis
  • Preferred knowledge in WERCS, SAP

SKILLS

  • Proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a matrix organization
  • Ability to propose and implement pragmatic solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately handle large amounts of detailed information from databases to meet standard response times and business needs
  • Excellent Skills in Microsoft suite, MS-Excel and database management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good team player
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Priority and time management to meet changing demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated to learn on the job and take initiative for training
  • Strong understanding of customer requirements and expectations
  • Strategic and forward-thinking
  • Demonstrate involvement during business requirement with optimism and “can do” mentality

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Toxicology, Chemistry, Biology or other life sciences
