Within our Business Unit Specialties and operating on a global scope, you are accountable for the global performance of operations for the factories and categories of your field including Safety, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Industrial projects.
As Operation Manager F/M your role will be dedicated to the following main missions:
- Propose the industrial strategy for your perimeter and coordinate its implementation while stimulating short term optimization and long-term innovation to improve competitiveness, process safety, product quality and environmental footprint of our operations.
- Ensure that controls and processes are developed and implemented to identify and manage operational risk appropriately and enable the teams to learn from incidents and complaints. You are accountable for your team engagement, training, and development.
- Stimulate collaboration either within the team to ensure effective coordination, and with suppliers and tolls to generate savings and innovations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics – define and implement improvement plans (R&I, investments, changes in the supply chain).
Main Skills
Required profile:
- Proven high level leadership skills in a similar sector with a significant board/senior management experience.
- Business planning, objective setting and performance management experience, experience of leading change programs and building effective partnerships.
- Knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, manufacturing, project management, finance, etc.).
- Outstanding communication and people skills with a good ability to demonstrate empathy and involve them in decisions
- Analyze complex information and make complex informed decisions.
- Fluent in English. Good command of French and Spanish are a plus.
