Business & Credit Analyst Middle East & Africa

Key responsabilities

MISSION

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the business analysis & credit control for the MEA region.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analyst – 60% time allocation

  • Play a key role in the planning process: monthly/quarterly forecasts and annual budget & related analysis and reporting
  • Reporting & follow-up on sales figures, costs, FTE and margin
  • Track, control and report on expenditures (OPEX)
  • Monitor business KPI’s
  • Develop and manage relationships with relevant local business partners
  • Suggest and implement improvements for internal finance processes and practices
  • Provide functional finance support to Sales, Operations, Supply Chain
  • Implement, maintain and upgrade management reporting tool
  • Participate in special project

Credit controller – 40% time allocation

  • Review Credit Requests
  • Release Blocked Orders after obtaining approvals, if necessary
  • Liaise with Credit Insurance Company
  • Review BVD data
  • Make internal credit limit recommendations
  • Credit Policy review per country/customer
  • Follow-up of unpaid invoices and reminders to customers

 

Main Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Languages: English and French mandatory
  • Computer: SAP / Microsoft office
  • Experience: minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit & business analysis role 
  • Customer oriented
  • Good Stakeholder management skill
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic, well-organized, Self-Initiated and coordination skill
  • Good analytical and problem solving-ability to identify creative solution
  • Good understanding of processes
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure keeping quality in focus
