Area Sales Director North & East Europe (m/f)

Key responsabilities

Mission and main stakes:

  •  Deliver Adisseo global sales and margin objectives for the region
  • Guarantees proper sales coverage, validates the strategy, objectives, and action plans for the defined geographic area
  • Ensures the adequacy of means and resources to deliver Adisseo sales and margin objectives in the region
  • Ensures Adisseo Key Account plan is actioned
  • Define the sales and margin objectives of the area sales teams (in coordination with the RBM) and ensures a proper follow up to challenge and support them to deliver the best possible performance at any time
  • Work with the Marketing and Technical team(s) to develop proper regional competitive intelligence and marketing plans
  • Coordinates and develops proactive teamwork between RBM/RCM and Area sales teams.
  • Anticipate & Identify the needs for training of the Area sales teams and ensures that they are properly trained at any time to deliver the sales objectives
  • Establish Adisseo reputation as a Reference Supplier for the feed industry in the Region

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

  • Deliver Area sales objectives for both performance products and specialty products
  • Deliver Area net margin objectives
  • Customer satisfaction index for the Area
  • Key Account relationship management and development in the Area
  • Defines optimum distributor strategy in the region and ensures proper execution of the decisions and orientations. Secure distributor engagement to deliver Adisseo objectives.
  • Define credit policy per customer and ensures proper execution
  • Manage SG&A for the Area
  • Anticipates & Identify the needs for commercial and technical trainings of the Area sales teams and ensures that they are properly trained at any time to deliver the sales objectives.
  • Coordination and arbitrage of activities cross SBUs at regional level (in close coordination with Regional Technical Marketing Director and others)
  • Supervision of Area support functions
  • Compliance: Ensures that the Regional team is properly trained and respects Corporate rules
  • Performance appraisal of Area Teams and Area support function leaders


Main Skills


Experience: at least 5 years in the feed industry with a strong background in animal nutrition and in sales or marketing

  • People and business management skills
  • Education:  Animal Nutrition/ DVM/Agricultural Studies
