Rovabio® Research Grant?

DESCRIPTION

This grant is dedicated to enzymes in animal nutrition, and addressed to scientists from universities or research institutes worldwide.

Applicants are chosen by a Scientific Committee of recognized scientists involved in feed enzyme.

The Rovabio® Research Grant, a US $280,000 grant will support three to five research programs of one to two year duration dedicated to basic and applied science on enzymes in animal nutrition:

• New insight on feed formulation with enzymes - the challenge of the combined NSPases and phytases
• Feed intake and feed conversion - the difference in enzyme response between poultry and swine
• Health benefits - The impact of feed enzymes on physiology, immunology and ecology of the digestive tract.

After the success of the  Rhodimet® Research Grant 2006-2008, and 2008-2010, Adisseo is very proud to announce the launch of the first Rovabio® Research Grant 2009–2011 dedicated to research on enzyme.

ELIGIBILITY

The applicant must have a Ph. D. as a minimum requirement.

Relevant research experience would be a plus.

The applicant must be supported by an academic institution which must have the capacity to support such research during the entire course of the award and a facility that can provide the appropriate mentorship.

- Selection criteria:

• Innovative quality of the research proposal
• Recognized scientific experience of the applicant
• Commitment of the academic institution

• Scientific experts in metabolism and nutrition
• Adisseo R&D department members and technical managers
