Description

After the sucess of the succes of the 1st and 2nd Rhodimet Research Grant 2006-2008 and 2008-2010, Adisseo is very proud to annouce the launch of the thrid Rhdomet® Research Grand 2010-2012 dedicated to sulphur containing amino acids and their analogs, and addressed to scientists from universities or research institutes worldwide. Applicants are chosen by a Scientific Committee of recognized scientists involved in amino acid research. An amount of 230 000 $ will be allocated to suppport 3 to 5 to one to two-ear research proposals divided into:

• Basic Research Grant: from metabolic pathways of methionine sources up to their effects on health benefits,
• Applied Research Grant: applications of methionine sources from recommendations to environmental issue.

   

Eligibility

The applicant must have a Ph.D as a minimum requirement. Relevant research experience would be a plus. The applicant must be supported by an academic institution which must have the capacity to support such research during the entire course of the award and an appropriate mentoship must be provided by the University.
